Into my first week of work. Colleagues been nice so far, the company is much bigger than my previous one so I’m still trying to familiarize the new environment and new faces.

It’s Wilson’s birthday today and we managed to make a birthday video to him on this special day!

It’s very amateur I know but lets have a great laugh.

Suck it Up

It’s funny how just 1 week ago I was spending my Friday afternoon relaxing in front of the TV watching NatGeo and TLC cooking shows thinking what to have for dinner and here 1 week later I am back rushing like mad to meet my deadlines.

Need to rush out THEBLACKDOGSTORE Oct collection by this Sunday before I start work. On top of that I have so many other errands and tasks to run my desktop is exploding with to-do-stickies.

*deep breaths and back to work!*

Coffee Time – Enjoy the Present

Not holding a 9 to 5 job allow me to make time for my favorite past time – coffee drinking.

I drink coffee during work too however I don’t get to enjoy them. Its more a quick fix then back to work. These days I take time to enjoy my coffee be it at home or outside. Sipping my coffee slowly in front of my laptop while reading mails and replying them become a simple pleasure to me. Sometimes after appointments or running errands I will find a coffee joint nearby to have a good cup of coffee while enjoying the idleness of the afternoon.

However soon I will join back the ‘rat race’. I have been offered a position in a Telco company and will be starting work next week. All good things do not necessary have to come to an end, but chances of me sipping coffee in a nice cafe during a weekday afternoon are probably very low after I start work.

So let’s always live and enjoy the present when we can as they may be gone before we knew it.

Always wanted to do some volunteering work for ASD (Action for Singapore Dogs) and last Saturday I finally managed to help out their charity booth sales.

People young and old stop by to donate or buy the merchandise during the morning I was there. They are just so genuine in wanting to help and so appreciative of what we are doing for ASD, a lady even walked up to us to thank us for what we are doing. I wish I could tell them that they are the ones who are making the difference

Opt to Adopt! These dogs make wonderful pets as well, all they need is a chance.

Been busy this week even though I’m not working. Maybe because I have less excuse to postphone things because of work. These days when something need to be done I have no reason to procrastinate but to do it right away.
